Lex Harvey-Bryn

Having lived all her life being told she was purely suffering from Depression and anxiety, it never rang true for Lex, and the treatments were never effective. Lex now sees that she indulged in several self-medicating and stimulating behaviours to manage her AuDHD symptoms without even realising it. Rejection-sensitive dysphoria manifested in overachieving, and to the outside world, she appeared to be a successful person, but inside she felt far from it. Despite this, Lex carved out a very successful career in Social Care and Housing. She has managed regional services both in senior and front-line roles. Due to her clarity, energy, and passion, Lex was able to naturally motivate previously low-performing teams into high-achieving teams, as well as ensure best practise models for service delivery and service user involvement.

Following her own AuDHD diagnosis, Lex has been on an intense learning and self-growth journey and now sees ADHD, AuDHD, and Autism as a mixture of superpowers and Kryptonite, with gifts no one could imagine, but with the sweets come the sours, and this has led to Lex experiencing the difficulties and challenges AuDHD brings. It was a huge relief to realise this was the reason, but it was coupled with a sense of sadness that it had not been recognised sooner. Lex is passionate about working with Adults with ADHD, AuDHD, and Autism to help them understand their own superpowers, manage their kryptonite, truly understand themselves, their dreams, wants, d and desires, and feel authentically y themselves It has become her life’s ambition to raise awareness and celebrate Neurodiversity.

Having experienced discrimination in the workplace because of her AuDHD, Lex works tirelessly to ensure she is able to provide the most accurate legal and procedural support and guidance to the clients she works with. Lex now also offers Neurodiversity Training for employers to understand and get the very best from their staff. Lex is passionate about helping clients with employment law and discrimination, SEN law, Family Law, corporate social responsibility, training, development, and public speaking.
